The Bhutan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCI) is pleased to inform that Bhutan Food and Drug Authority (BFDA),under the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) will be organizing an “Awareness Session to the Bhutanese Exporters”. This session aims to provide essential information on requirements and guidelines set by FSSAI for exporting food and agricultural products to India towards ensuring that exporters are well-informed and to comply with the necessary standards for avoiding hassle at the border entry points.
Going forward, we are in the process of updating and compiling the list of the Bhutanese exporters who are either interested in or currently exporting food and agricultural products to India. The list will be submitted to BFDA to facilitate invitation to the awareness workshop.
We therefore, urge all Bhutanese exporters in food & agricultural products to get registered with BCCI through the provided link latest by 9th August, 2024.
