The BCCI is in receipt of an Invitation through the Embassy of India in Thimphu about the “BHARAT TEX 2024 – a global textile mega event” scheduled to be held from February 26-29 in New Delhi organized by a consortium of 11 Textile Export Promotion Councils and supported by the Ministry of Textiles , Government of India.
The event will feature an exhibition spread across nearly 2,00,000 sq. m area encompassing Apparel, Home Furnishings, Floor Coverings, Fibres, Yarns, Threads, Fabrics, Carpets, Silk, Textiles based Handicrafts and Technical Textiles. The 4 day event is expected to attract, besides policymakers and global CEOs, over 3,500 exhibitors from around the world, 3,000 overseas buyers, and more than 40,000 domestic buyers. It will also include more than 50 different knowledge sessions providing an excellent platform for knowledge exchange, information dissemination, G2G and B2B interactions. It will help business and Governments to explore investment and technology tie-ups across various segments in the textile value chain.
The organizer shall provide following hospitality for the international buyers. However, any other expenses related to said event is required to be borne by the participant themselves.
