This is to inform you about an interest expressed by a group of Swiss investors in introducing gliding services as a Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) opportunity in Bhutan. This initiative could be the first of its kind in the entire Himalayan region, with promising potential to promote in-bound tourism.
Three Swiss investors will travel to Bhutan between 21 February – 13 April 2024 to meet with the relevant authorities of the Royal Government and explore potential business partnerships.
