The BCCI is pleased to inform that the Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry and GS Marketing Associates, Kolkata are planning to organize “INDIA INTERNATIONAL MEGA TRADE FAIR” at the Science City Ground in Kolkata from 20th December, 2024 to 6th January, 2025.
The main objective is to promote India’s 28 states’ excellent products and tourism sector, as well as neighboring countries like Bhutan. Participants from Bhutan can sell their products to visitors, and Indian tourists can purchase orders from them. The organizer aims to promote Bhutan’s tourism sector, including handicrafts, handlooms, fruit juice, green tea, Agro products, and SME products. Last year, 17 countries and 22 Indian states participated in this event, which spanned 18 days. The fair attracted 1,750,000 visitors, making it the largest international trade fair in India.
The stall rent with discounted rate only for the Bhutanese participants are as follows: –
- 20% discount from the Stall rent i.e. INR 1,50,000/-, not from GST. Required more than 15 stalls
- 15% discount the Stall rent i.e. INR 1,50,000/, not from GST. If the stall booking is within 10 to 15 stalls.
- 10% discount the Stall rent i.e. INR 1,50,000/, not from GST, if the stall booking is below 10 stalls.
- The organizer will also try to accommodate the participants in a nearby venue under the same roof against payment.
Interested business members wishes to participant in said event are requested to kindly register latest by 20th September, 2024. However, regarding the airfares, hotel accommodation and other expenses related to the travel for the said event are required to be borne by the participants themselves.
