India Steel 2023

The BCCI is in receipt of an Invitation through Embassy of India, Thimphu about the “India Steel 2023”, an International Exhibition and Conference on Steel Industry, is scheduled from 20-22 February 2023 at Mumbai Exhibition Centre (NESCO), Mumbai. The event is being organized by the Ministry of Steel, Government of India, in association with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) and consists of an International Exhibition and a Conference along with series of concurrent event such as the CEOs Forum, Reverse Buyer Seller Meet, etc.

The Event will feature a Reverse Buyer Meet (RBSM) where more than 250 delegates from Africa, Middle East, CIS, and Asia are being invited. B2B and B2G meetings will be conducted during the event. The objective is to facilitate the development of strategic partnerships in the Steel Sector between India and countries from these regions and to promote the export of quality Steel Products from India. Steel Industry representatives and Buyers under the following categories are invited to register for the said RBSM :

   Steel Traders;
  Importers;
 Manufacturing Plant Heads;
  Technical Heads;
 Project Consulting Organisations;
 Procurement Heads/ Purchase Managers;
 Government Steel Procurement Departments;
 Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs);
 Automobile Manufacturers;
 Infrastructure, Oil & Gas Pipeline & Real Estate Material Suppliers;
 EPC Contractors;
  Railway, Shipping, Defence Material Management Heads;
 Rolling Mill Importers;
  Investors;
  Trade Journalists;
 Other Allied Organizations/ Institutions interested in procurement of Indian Steel raw material, finished products, technology or know-how.

The organisers will host few buyers selected by the screening committee strictly on merit, appropriateness of profile and on FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS. A token amount of USD 100/- against refundable registration fee shall be deposited by all the buyers upon their arrival

The selected delegates will be provided hospitality such as economy class air tickets, hotel accommodation (3 Nights), airport transfer, and local transport in India. The selection will be done by a screening committee.
