The National Environment Commission Secretariat (NECS) is pleased to notify that salt iodization project with dry mixing processes and packaging in ready made packagings is hereafter listed under green catagory of projects and shall be exempted from requiring Environmental Clearance. However, the applicant(s) must fulfill and obtain approvals/clearances/ development consent from concerened agencies as required under relevant existing legislations.
